Trump on Taylor Swift after political post: 'likes her music 25% less'

President Trump retort Taylor swift's political instagram post

President Trump responded to pop star Taylor Swift’s criticism for Rep. Marsha Blackburn, whom the president has repeatedly praised: "Marsha Blackburn is doing a very good job in Tennessee."

"I'm sure Taylor Swift has nothing -- or doesn't know anything about Blackurn," Trump said. And then he added a comment: "If I ever enjoyed Taylor Swift's music, let's say that I like her music about 25% less now, OK?"

Earlier this week, Taylor Swift broke her silence on politics on Sunday by a political Instagram post.

"I believe in the fight for LGBTQ rights, and that any form of discrimination based on sexual orientation or gender is WRONG."

Taylor is a supporter of gender and color equality, as well as the right for the LGBTQ community.

“I cannot vote for someone who will not be willing to fight for dignity for ALL Americans, no matter their skin color, gender or who they love."

The pop star not only shows her endorsement of two Democrats for the US mid-term elections but also criticized Republican Senate nominee Marsha Blackburn for her voting record on gender equality.

"She voted against equal pay for women. She voted against the Reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act, which attempts to protect women from domestic violence, stalking, and date rape. She believes businesses have a right to refuse service to gay couples. She also believes they should not have the right to marry. These are not MY Tennessee values. I will be voting for Phil Bredesen for Senate and Jim Cooper for House of Representatives," Swift wrote.
